The Thousand Martyr pass and the lakes of Paladru and Aiguebelette

From les Abrets, take the direction of the south on D1075 then in the right on D142 to Charancieu, Paladru, along the lake on D50 Charavines, Clermont, Chirens on D1075 until Fagot. Turn on the left on D49c to le Rousset then again on the left to St-Sixte. Go up on the Thousand Martyr pass on D28 in direction of Miribel-les-Echelles then on D49 between Entre-Deux-Guiers and Les Echelles. In Les Echelles , take on the left (you’re now in Savoie) on D921 to La Bauche, Attignat-Oncin, Le Gué des Planches and take D921d to go around the lake of Aiguebelette by the village of Lépin-le-Lac. After going around the lake, take on the right on D921 to Novalaise then D916 in direction of La Crusille pass, Ste-Marie d’Alvey, then on D516 to St-Genix sur Guiers. From here, going down to the south on D40 to Romagnieu then on D40c and D142e to get to Les Abrets.
