Le Clos de mon Père - La Villa

Welcome to my father's Clos de mon père,
Let me guide you. You are probably confused when you arrive in front of the gate in the middle of the shopping area. It's hard to imagine here the stay you've been dreaming of so much. However, once you have entered the enclosure you will no longer have any doubts.
Once you have crossed the gate, on your left, a car park is waiting for you to forget your car. Occasionally it will make an excellent petanque ground. At the end of the driveway, bordered by a long hedge and majestic fir trees, you will discover the house in southern style.
It was my father's house. He loved work, nature, tennis and entertaining his friends. His favourite tree was the blue cedar. There you have it, the decor is planted.
For your comfort we have spent two whole years renovating the house, the swimming pool and the tennis court. The house is equipped with reversible heat pump heating and air conditioning in all living rooms. We have paid particular attention to energy saving, to bringing the house up to standard, but also to modernism and design.
Enter through the large glass door that gives access to the billiard room. At the back of it, a surprising fresco makes you think that the armchairs go through the wall. On your left, the bar, fitted out with a Tata truck grille, is equipped with two small refrigerators, a dishwasher, an oven and a beer tap. The projection room is in the continuation of the bar with home cinema and large screen. You will enjoy it in resolutely decorative and particularly comfortable armchairs.
Go upstairs, to the right you will discover a large 75 m² living and dining room with a magnificent oak and glass table. In the extension, the fireplace corner with its cosy sofas, further on is the TV area with a wall screen and its connected Smart TV system.
Retrace your steps to the kitchen and its industrial style. Here you will prepare meals for 14 people, with 1 large fridge, 1 dishwasher, 2 ovens, 1 large hob, 1 coffee machine with grinding bean, 1 juicer, 1 kettle, 1 soda stream, 1 complete set of kitchen utensils, branded crockery...
It's time to discover the six rooms, all with different and refined styles.
Start with those on the first floor, firstly the Zeus room with its 160 x 200 cm bed. Its balcony overlooks the park and sometimes allows you to catch a glimpse of squirrels. It has a large bathroom or, should I say, a cave with a bathtub with its skylight, a shower and a toilet.
On the other side of the landing you enter the Nautilus room. As you pass the door, memories of Jules Verne's books resurface with the four bunk beds with underwater design, the giant nautical chart and the airlock to the world of the abyss. Hidden behind the map, the bathroom is equipped with a shower-lamp and a WC.
The other rooms await you on the ground floor. Opposite the living room, the Azur room has a 160 x 200 cm bed. The view is ideal for tennis fans. From its small bathroom, get ready for a dip in the Aiguebelette lake!
Come back into the corridor, on your left the ground floor WC, modern and yet a little bit "like in the old days".
Further on is the Liège room with two 90 x 200 cm modular beds. We will prepare it at your convenience: one double bed or two single beds. Remember to let us know when you make your reservation. The bathroom is equipped with an Italian shower. Further on you can see the small office area for the "no rest".
Would you like to spend a night under the stars without having to go outside? The Baldaquin room awaits you. The carpenter has given free rein to his imagination. Once the bed was finished, he made his own. I won't tell you more. The bed is 180 x 200 cm. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub with a door, which you should not forget to close.
The last room, Savane, is accessible from the Baldaquin room or from outside. Like the Liège room, it has two 90 x 200 cm beds. Also, please let us know the configuration you would like.
On your arrival the beds will be made. You will be provided with two towels per person, a bath towel, a shower mat and a bathrobe.
I suggest you go back outside. In the park of one hectare entirely enclosed, you will enjoy absolute peace and quiet and the children will frolic in complete serenity.
Visit the pool now. It is sheltered in an independent building, very glazed, with dry stone walls and an exposed wooden frame. The pool measures 11 m x 5.2 m with a depth of between 1 m and 2.6 m. You will have enough to swim in heated water from April to October. Please note that children and average swimmers must be supervised. And because two protections are better than one, the lockable building and the electric shutter make the pool inaccessible when it cannot be supervised.
On the other side of the house, now head towards the tennis court and its training wall. You will be able to warm up at dawn and your less courageous partners, those who have not been able to leave their cosy beds, will have something to worry about for the tournament of the day. A basketball hoop or the table tennis table will allow for other fierce competitions.
Have you noticed the bamboos at the back of the park? Well seen, it is moreover here that our visit ends for a moment of serenity.
