Coming from Grenoble, we were very surprised that in a small town like Pressins, so close to home, a night show worthy of the big cities (and even more) was organised!
From 16 to 26 July 2025, Pressins will be dressed in its historical costume. Les Historiales will be staging its sound and light show ‘L’amour interdit, Paris 1910’ (Forbidden Love, Paris 1910), reliving the incredible story of Jean Jacques Liabeuf, a young shoemaker aged 24 who was so enamoured of justice that he climbed the scaffold on 1 July 1910.
With laughter, drama and emotion, this colourful show will plunge you into the Paris of the 1910s, the city of brothels, working-class neighbourhoods, apaches and anarchism, the bourgeois press and the revolutionary press, the flooded Paris and the Paris of scoundrels.
For an evening full of magic in a festive, friendly, simple and authentic spirit. A timeless moment in the heart of the Vals du Dauphiné countryside.
We spoke about it to friends in Lyon and next year we’ll be there to share this wonderful discovery.
We want more! Thank you Les Historiales and well done!

The Historiales sound and light show is: 1h30 of great entertainment… 100 actors… 150 costumes… 1000m² of stage space, an exceptional set, music, pyrotechnics, video projection…
A moment out of time, under the stars!
For over 30 years, the Historiales sound and light show has brought to life the great moments of French history. It is one of the biggest night shows in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. A sound and light show for the general public, located 55 minutes from Lyon and Grenoble and 25 minutes from Chambéry, Belley and Voiron.
