After hosting the French Future Cycling Championships in August 2025, our region is once again preparing to celebrate cycling with the French Elite Road Cycling Championships.
From 25 to 28 June 2026, our destination will once again be in the spotlight as it hosts the French Elite Cycling Championships.
With their unique landscapes, Les Vals du Dauphiné provide the perfect setting for these major sporting events. They will bring together the best French cyclists — women and men, amateurs and professionals — all competing for the prestigious French Champion jerseys.

Saturday 27 June 2026: the 2nd edition of the cyclosportive “La Tricolore – Défi des Vals”
Looking for a unique cycling experience? On Saturday 27 June 2026, as part of the French Elite Cycling Championships, the Les Vals du Dauphiné Community of Municipalities and the COTNI cycling club invite you to take part in the 2nd edition of the cyclosportive “La Tricolore – Défi des Vals.”
3 routes, 3 levels of difficulty
- East Route: 55.5 km – 751 m elevation gain
- South Route: 115.9 km – 1,843 m elevation gain
- Family Route: 16.8 km – 171 m elevation gain
