Sound and light show of the Historiales

La Nuit du Lac de Romagnieu [Lake Romagnieu Night]
The must-see amongst the must-sees
Every first Saturday in August, the Nuit du Lac de Romagnieu is a tradition that marks the heart of the summer in Vals du Dauphiné. This fireworks show is without a doubt the most beautiful in the region. Music follows the second round of fireworks lighting up the sky and chills run through the audience.
But that’s not all! La Nuit du Lac de Romagnieu then turns into a wonderful and friendly ball, an enormous refreshment bar and a podium and dance floor for bold moves! This is the holiday spirit!
Childern festival PRE EN BULLES
On the top of a hill, in the heart of a chestnut forest, the Pré en Bulles days are, every two years and for 4 days, shows and workshops for children!
Theatre, circus arts, puppets, music, modelling, emotional wall, clay make-up, paper hats,… in a maze of small paths with mysterious, surprising outcomes, a magical wood and out of time where artistic awakening, autonomy, curiosity, respect for others and the environment are essential.
La Fête du Miron
Miron is a chocolate, a speciality of the city. A traditional production based on nougatine, candied lemon and chocolate coated marzipan. It can be found in several pastries of La Tour du Pin. It also has its own festival every year at the beginning of July: 3 days of totally free activities, to highlight the local heritage and move the city.
Great show, open-air cinema, craft market, chocolate, exhibitions, competitions and other surprises, the mischievous Miron awaits you!
Medieval and fantastic festival of Saint Victor de Cessieu
End of June – Continuous shows, market and medieval atmosphere thanks to the presence of about twenty troupes specialized in music, dance, fighting or other traditions of the time.
The plus: Saturday evening, let’s celebrate! It is time for a meal and a medieval show.
Summer festivals
- Moulinstock festival at St Victor de Cessieu
An eclectic programme for all audiences and ages is the secret of this festival, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2018.
- Le Passage Music Festival at Passage castle
Rock Voisine, Marina Kaye in 2018, Master Gims, Jennifer in 2019. Big heads of posters and incredible setting in the park of the Château du Passage. See you at the end of July.
- Festirock at Saint André le Gaz
National pop rock bands and fireworks and it’s free. Appointment at the beginning of July to start the summer.
